Founded in the early 1990s on a Christian ethos in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, Little Cubs has become a leading provider of high-quality full sessional day care for children from birth to school age at our purpose-built facility.

We are more passionate than ever about childcare and believe that early years are crucial. Our goal is to ensure each child progresses toward their potential, leaving our care as independent, confident thinkers and achievers.

ARE FUNDED PLACES AVAILABLE?

Yes! We offer funded places from 9 months old. Please contact us for more information.

HOW SOON SHOULD I REGISTER MY CHILD?

It's never too early to register your child with us, many of our families register before birth!

ARE YOU OPEN DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS?

Yes! We are open 51 weeks of the year and your child is welcome to attend Nursery throughout the term time holidays.

DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD?

We provide breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks from a varied seasonal menu catering for all allergies and dietary requirements.

ARE YOUR SPACES AGE SPECIFIC?

Our age-specific rooms and gardens are tailored to different developmental stages, ensuring that each child receives the most engaging and inclusive care possible.

IS THERE A GRADUATION CEREMONY?

Graduation ceremonies at Little Cubs are a day to remember and held in our main auditorium with new state-of-the-art LED screen and lighting system.

HOW WILL YOU HELP MY CHILD SETTLE?

We will arrange transitional visits and meetings with you before your child starts to help them feel at home and get them ready for their exciting next steps.

CAN I PARK WHEN DROPPING OFF?

For the convenience of our families, we offer free and safe parking on site. This ensures that drop-offs and pick-ups are hassle-free, providing peace of mind for parents and guardians.
